PROJECT AIMS
To design and propose justification of the definitions and characters of the new proposed job profile of e-sports trainers by identifying the skills and competences that e-sport trainer should have, given their new role in the knowledge society;
To create conditions for building up and improving fundamental skills and competences of established professional trainers in related fields by attracting them to participate in practice courses within the new field of vocational training.
To create conditions for improving the social integrity of the people at a disadvantage and to give them opportunity for better self-approval and self-perfection through the active participation in the vocational training course.
To develop the curricula training modules, divided in three main sections – general, specialized in e-sports disciplines and pedagogics regarding content, teaching and learning methods, materials, handbooks and guidelines for vocational training of e-sport professional coaches.
To improve the quality of non-formal training – the vocational training in electronic sport represents an experimental pilot module for innovative learning through sport and ICT training, which is aimed at the enhancement of the level of information and awareness of the population, that there are opportunities for training through e-sport, which combines physical skills of young people with their mental skills, in the spirit of cooperation, teamwork, fair play, exchange of experience and good practices.
To develop a VET framework in the EU in the field of e-sports and ICTs by providing pilot professional training of e-sport trainers and justification (to outline and analyse) of the new occupational field of competences.
To test and strengthen the pilot project results by implementing the vocational training course in the promoter country on the basis of work-linked methods through issuing of certificates that recognize the acquired level of qualification of e-sport trainers.
To set the dimensions of the new training area – the area of professional trainers in ES.
