PARTICIPANTS
International e-sports events attract more than a million of competitors, spectators, official guests and media representatives, and the tendencies are to have this number increased. Therefore professionals are needed who are well skilled to develop and support the competitive environment of the European e-sports and to meet the needs of sports organizations that train professional competitors who to represent with dignity their own country in e-sports competitions and events.
Young people at a disadvantage
As a part of the society we live in, the people at a disadvantage such as disabled people are also a part of the processes of change and progress. That’s why the project is oriented also to the group of young people at a disadvantage, who need to be encouraged to express their capabilities in a field of activity of their interest. Acquiring knowledge and skills in the field of e-sport through the vocational training course they will become more and more trustworthy to their own capabilities for active participation in the social processes.
Due to the vocational training course they will be directly attracted, motivated and engaged in the new field of professional realization – e-sports and e-sport trainers. The participation in the course will ensure the enriching of personal and professional knowledge and skills, the improving of skills for communication, teamwork and social integration through the facilitated social dialog with other members of the community during an after the training period. The training course will also increase the self-confidence, the sense of equality with the other groups of the society and the opportunities for professional realization of the people at a disadvantage.
Wide public
The project’s wide publics are owners of Internet cafes/clubs, SMEs working on the field of computer technologies, electronic games producers, promoters and sellers, organizations for disabled people; and at last, but not at the latest place – the European VET systems.
